My story

Hi, my name is Poppy. I am about 3 years old. I am extremely sweet and loving. I am a little on the shy side to begin with, but after some soft pets, I am your best friend! Everyone who has met me has said how sweet and friendly I am. They also talk about my unique markings and tell me how pretty I am. I love being with my people and snuggling and getting all the pets. I do like toys and playing. I do get a little overstimulated, and play bite, but I don't mean any harm. I know I shouldn't do it, and feel bad afterwards, so I need someone who understands and can work with me in a loving way to not play bite. I do well with dogs that are bigger and can handle my playfulness. I like to be the only cat in my forever home though. Kids that are older would be best in my forever home, if there are kids. I LOVE canned food as well as my dry food. I look forward to that every morning! If you are looking for a sweet, friendly and quiet girl, I am it! Please apply for me!

Poppy is located at Petco Eagan.

All cats have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. Poppy has been microchipped and spayed. Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 100 mile radius of Minneapolis.
