Are you looking for a snuggly, chatty friend? An adult with a bit of kitten playfulness in him, but is always down for a nap in the chair. Someone who has so much love to give he constantly is showing you love. Then Luka may be perfect for you.
Luka is a 7-9 year old Siamese. He has gorgeous blue eyes that you will fall in love with. He’s your typical chatty Siamese who love to check to see what you’re doing or chat about your day. He absolutely LOVES have a human. He enjoys get a bit of fresh air through an open window while he surveys his domain.
Most of Luka’s story prior to coming to The Kitten League is unknown, but what we do know is a sad story. He is a former indoor cat (neutered and front declawed) who was left to fend for himself outside. His life before he was left outside was abusive at the very least. He was rescued at the beginning of December '23. In the last few months in his foster home, he is learning not all humans are scary.
Because of his past experiences Luka is very slow to trust new people and get comfortable in new situations. He will need an adopter who will give him the time, love, and space to trust them. But once he trusts you he will return that love 10 fold.
He would do best in a quiet home without kids. And he’s a great companion if you have a WFH role. He is also on a prescription cat food that he will need to remain on.
We think he'd benefit greatly from a cat friend who is calm and not dominate or aggressive.
