Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Fresca! This adorable, curious tuxedo isn't like a cow JUST in the way she looks -- she loves to hang out by open windows & watch the outside! She needs to be kept indoors, but she would absolutely benefit from a home where she could have a catio to watch birds, mice, and other cats. Although she's very skittish, she's also super playful! Her favorite toys are silvervine chew toys and crinkle balls. But, watch out! She does like to eat plastic! She should be supervised with certain plastic toys, & be careful with leaving plastic bags or wrappers lying around or even in open trash cans. Fresca isn't good with being handled (or with hands in general), so she really loves rubbing up against your legs & feet (& you'll find out that her fur is SUPER SOFT). Sometimes, you might find her sitting in your shoes! With a bit of extra time to adjust, you can tell that Fresca could get along well with other animals and people. In order to help her adjust, it's probably a good idea to get her a tunnel toy or a cat tree with some hiding spaces so that she has places to go when she feels scared. (Otherwise, you might find her hiding in bathtubs & showers!) Once she's comfortable, she'll happily rub up against you or curl up at the foot of your bed (or watch over you while you do your business). Sometimes, she'll roll over on her back & show you her belly! Fresca would not do too well in a home with young children (or where there are often young children) or with a first-time cat owner because she can be aggressive when handled. If you're looking for a sweet cat & can accommodate for her shyness, Fresca could be the kitty for you!
