Bio: Scarlet is a sweet, high-energy dog looking for an adventurous family to live her life with! She loves long walks, runs, hikes, camping, backpacking and all the jobs.

Scarlett does well with kids (there are three in her foster home and she sleeps with the 8 year old), but can still be a little mouthy at times (though mostly gentle) so maybe would do best with 6+. Scarlet hasn't had any accidents in her foster home, is kennel trained and gets along with other dogs.

Now Scarlet isn't perfect. She NEEDS her exercise or gets a *teeny* bit high energy and "wild" (some humans am i right?). But with appropriate exercise and stimulation, this is not an issue at all for her. She also does best with dogs that have similar rough play styles, but would be perfectly content to be your one and only.

This beautiful girl LIVES for structure, routine and jobs to do and will do best in a home with owners who can provide this for her. Is it you? â¤ï¸

Home Check

We ask for a virtual home tour (pictures or videos) Can be submitted through the application or when we contact.

3.
Interview

We will discuss what your looking for and if the current pet fits that or match you with someone who does . Done via phone.

4.
Approve Application

There is 3 days from time of approved app to determine a meet and greet

5.
Meet the Pet

All household members must be present and any current dogs.

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

Fee is paid. Adoption photo (if adopter is okay with ) is taken

7.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

We keep our applications on file for a year. We try very hard for the best match all around. Definitely can switch the dog you applied for if a better fit is found.
