My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rex is a carefree mix of a shepherd who is very sociable and energetic. He loves to run, explore, and jump. His foster family says he could run a marathon, so marathon runners, who wants a running buddy?

Rex loves giving kisses and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. He enjoys being in the garden and playing with his toys, and of course, he loves treats! Like most young dogs, Rex is full of energy and is looking for a family that is active and can help him learn good manners while he's still young. This will be easy for an intelligent dog like Rex! Are you his new family?

Rex is being raised near Ajijic, MX and can be adopted locally or in parts of the USA and Canada.

More about this rescue

Bone Voyage is a non-profit rescue group created to send Mexican dogs north to better homes. We work with the local shelters and with people in the Lake Chapala area that have many street dogs in their care.

We also assist individuals that find street dogs and don’t know what to do with them. We are all volunteers working together to try to minimize the amount of homeless dogs in the area.
