SOMEHOW this squishy face lover boy is still on the lookout for his own family. We are pretty shocked with this one, I mean check out the pecs on this big goober ! But he has nothing but love for everyone he meets, with the occasional side eye. :) Meet this handsome 72# boy named Freedom!! Freedom received his name after he was a stray running loose just outside Fond du Lac after he slipped out the door on his owner and sadly they decided not to try and catch him. He was on his own for about 2 weeks after he finally gave in and decided to go up to a stranger & allow her to loop him on a leash. Freedom has come a very long ways in such a short time. He has come so far since being rescued and finally knows what love is all about in his foster home. He lives with 2 other dogs with no issues, unfortunately though no kitty siblings for him. This handsome lug is around 2.5 yrs old & wants nothing but to please anyone & enjoy an active life with a forever family. He knows sit, house & kennel trained & is making great progress with "leave it" Due to this big boy's size and at times his silly puppy likeness a home with kids older then 12 and up would be best for him as well as he needs another dog companion Freedom has recently been to the vet and has a clean bill of health. He's neutered, heartworm negative, current on rabies & up to date on shots. He is excited to start the next chapter in his life with people who actually care and love him and want to make him one of there furbabies. An online application can be found at SandiPaws.org for this big smooshy face love bug. Thank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org for more information on our organization or to fill out an application to adopt one of our pets. You can find information for volunteering on our site as well.

Additional adoption info
See our adoption process at www.sandipaws.org/adoption
A successful adoption depends on the selection of the right pet for your household and your understanding of your responsibility of adopting a rescued animal. Our adoption procedures have been designed to make sure all rescued Sandi Paws pets are placed in an appropriate, loving forever home, and to make sure all adopters find the right fit for their family. Prior to adoption, all dogs and cats will be given all age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies, kennel cough, parvo and distemper, spaying/neutering, intestinal deworming, heartworm testing/treatment, microchipping, and monthly heartworm medication and flea prevention.
Note: We will adopt pets outside of Wisconsin if we can do necessary background and reference checks and the adopters agree to provide necessary follow up information. Also, the adopting family must agree to travel to pick up the pet and agree to transport them back to Wisconsin if they need to be returned at any time.
