Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Hi, I'm Edgar! I'm a 3-year-old shepherd/black mouth cur mix of a slender build, weighing in at 56 pounds.
My favorite activities are walking and chilling with humans! Walks are so fun and my foster parents say I walk well with a harness! However, if we don't have time for a walk, you can just let me out in the yard to do my business and I will come right back. I am a great listener and very obedient!
Some other things I love are running around at the dog park, chew toys, bones, treats, giving side eye, and meeting new people.
Actually, what I love most is people! I'm a cuddly guy who's always down to curl up on the couch with the humans. I'll greet them with one of my signature hugs and give them hugs throughout the day.
My foster parents would describe me as a chill, quiet, medium-energy guy, though I'll bark once or twice when someone is at the door.
I'm okay with other dogs once I'm introduced to them but have trouble when on leash and could use some training.
