My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️

Meet Soonja💘

Soonja was rescued from a dog farm in Gongdeok, Gimje, just before she was about to be slaughtered. Despite witnessing many of her friends being led to their deaths by the slaughterer, Soonja wagged her tail when she saw the Adogs staff and volunteers.

* Towards People: She loves people! She eagerly approaches strangers to greet them, wagging her tail so vigorously that her hips wiggle along. She gives enthusiastic kisses when greeting and loves being petted, showing her lively and affectionate nature.
* Towards Dogs: She gets along very well with the other dogs at the center.
* Separation Anxiety: Currently living at the center, so it's not yet known. Training may be needed.
* Potty Training: Currently living at the center, so it's not yet known. Training may be needed.
* Walking: She knows how to walk well with her guardian and enjoys walks.

❗Health Status❗
* Spayed
* Other: Scheduled for heartworm recheck (September 2024)

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US and Canada when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
