Guinness is a stray that showed up at a home in the country. He is available for either in-state adoption or adoption and transport to another state.
Guinness is a schnauzer or some other type of scruffy terrier. He weighs 18 pounds and is young - probably still under 1 year of age. He is a playful, active, outgoing little scamp. He loves toys and wrestling with other dogs. Guinness is crate-trained but definitely needs obedience training (he likes to play you can't catch me). We are not sure about housetraining since we haven't seen him in the act - so work may be needed with that as well. He is a young spirited dog that needs training and guidance. He is a terrier and he sometimes loses his temper with other dogs. The other rescues have put him in his place but we still have to break up the occasional scuffle. So his new family must be prepared for that. Guinness must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and needs a secure fenced yard to run and play.
Guinness is a healthy and happy boy. He is neutered, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. He is negative for heartworms and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Guinness has a $250 in-state adoption fee. His out-of-state adoption fee is $450 and includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company. He can be transported almost anywhere within the continental United States.
