My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Who doesn’t remember and love Pez, the candy in the handheld dispenser? Well, our Pez is as sweet as the sugary treat he’s named after and just needs a loving family to share his ooey gooey heart with!

Pez has been in the shelter after being confiscated by animal protection officers twice since 2019 and he really needs and deserves a loving and stable forever home. He’s a truly nice dog who will thrive with a family of his own. Here’s what some of his volunteer friends have said:

“In the play yard, Pez was social with me and did several sits on command. He loves to catch treats and have his butt scratched.”

“Pez is friendly and responsive, and I was able to get him to sit and wait for a minute before we exited his kennel. In the park he settled down and checked in with me often. He is responsive to his name, knows ‘sit’ and ‘shake hands’, and catches treats easily out of mid-air.”

Pez shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been tolerant and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Please ask about Pez today!
