Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Four-year-old special needs kitty Star has quickly won the hearts of staff and volunteers who have gotten to know her. A large black kitty with a little white patch on her chest and light green eyes, she is a friendly, curious, talkative, energetic, cuddly, mellow, affectionate, and “very snuggly” lapcat. Star is special needs because she has diabetes. It is currently being treated with a special diet and a medication that she takes by mouth and she seems to be doing well on this regimen. She will need treatment for the diabetes for the rest of her life. Please give the shelter a call at (360) 678-8901 if you are interested in Star and have any questions about her medical issues.
