Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not adopt our fosters to anyone further than a 1-hour drive from Albany, NY. Unless otherwise stated below, our fosters are spayed/neutered, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and up to date on vaccinations before they are posted for adoption.

Miss Winnie has been through many trials in her 5 years of life! She is hoping her troubles are behind her and a loving forever home is just around the corner.
Winnie is above all else a people cat! She is quite personable and likes to greet every visitor in her foster home as her new favorite friend. Other animals, however, are a no-go for her. She MUST be your only pet. She is terrified of other cats and the stress causes her to over groom out of anxiety.
While she's isn't a lap cat, she still loves attention. She will initiate snuggles next to you, head bops, and request pets. The biggest purrs always follow! Some of her favorite things include window hunting, high perches, wand toys, small furry toys, and scratching posts. She also likes to burrow into small cozy places like baskets and blankets.
A calm and quiet home that would spoil her with an extra tall cat tree and lots of cozy nap spots would be her heaven!

AnimaLovers was founded in 1995 by a small group of friends who wanted to provide needy cats and dogs in the Capital District of New York with a better way to find their way to safety and new lives. As of 2011, AnimaLovers is serving cats, only. AnimaLovers's mission is to:
* To provide housing, veterinary care, and adoption for unwanted, abandoned, injured, or stray cats;
* To educate adopters, as well as the general public, about the health and training needs of our companion animals;
* To promote spaying and neutering as an efficient and humane means of animal population control; and
* To advocate for legislation that will prevent cruelty to animals.
In addition, AnimaLovers has expanded beyond the boundaries of cat and dog rescue and adoption to meet the needs of other animals as well by creating programs to help families keep their companion animals healthy by providing low-cost spay/neuter services and emergency veterinary care.
