Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not adopt our fosters to anyone further than a 1-hour drive from Albany, NY. Unless otherwise stated below, our fosters are spayed/neutered, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and up to date on vaccinations before they are posted for adoption.

Milley and her brother, Dale, were strays in Burnt Hills. She was fed by a kind lady on her back porch for over a year. During that time, Milley had two litters of kittens. In the first litter, only one kitten survived and is currently living with the kind lady. When Milley had her second litter of five kittens, an AnimaLovers volunteer stepped in to take Milley and her babies into her home to foster them.
Milley was an excellent, attentive mother to her babies, who have now all been adopted into loving homes. Milley also wants a forever home to call her own. She is a shy, independent girl who will come out to see her humans when she feels the time is right. She needs a quite home. Older children would be fine but younger children would make her too nervous. She is okay with her feline brother, Dale, but has not been exposed to dogs. Her new family needs to be patient with her; she will take a while to adjust to new surroundings. She is about 1.5 years old.

AnimaLovers was founded in 1995 by a small group of friends who wanted to provide needy cats and dogs in the Capital District of New York with a better way to find their way to safety and new lives. As of 2011, AnimaLovers is serving cats, only. AnimaLovers's mission is to:
* To provide housing, veterinary care, and adoption for unwanted, abandoned, injured, or stray cats;
* To educate adopters, as well as the general public, about the health and training needs of our companion animals;
* To promote spaying and neutering as an efficient and humane means of animal population control; and
* To advocate for legislation that will prevent cruelty to animals.
In addition, AnimaLovers has expanded beyond the boundaries of cat and dog rescue and adoption to meet the needs of other animals as well by creating programs to help families keep their companion animals healthy by providing low-cost spay/neuter services and emergency veterinary care.
