Meet Hope, the cat whose beauty is only surpassed by her boundless affection once you gain her trust!
Hope’s piercing blue eyes are a window to her loving and sassy soul. Not only is Hope a clean cat, but she’s also incredibly smart – she’s even figured out how to open sliding doors to be with her favorite person. In addition to your attention, her favorite things are playing and stretching adorably on the floor before settling down for a nap.
Hope needs a patient and quiet home. She’s made great progress overcoming her fear of hands, but because of her background, she can take a month or more to start trusting a new person. Hope also prefers the company of trusted humans over the company of cats and does not hesitate to make other cats aware of this. She would do well with an experienced cat owner or owners who are willing to give her time and space to adjust and recover, and who aren’t put off by periodic cattitude or “spiciness.”

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit: https://fancycats.org/volunteer
