My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Lychee. I am a 2 year old female Poodle. My owners no longer wanted me once I became paralyzed and owner surrendered me to big Dog Ranch Rescue back in January. Under the excellent medical attention at Big Dog Ranch it was discovered I had a bleed into my spinal cord which caused my paralysis. The neurologists who evaluated me concluded I was not a good surgical case. On the bright side I am the sweetest, happiest dog who still has some movement in my tail. I have a wheelchair that I zoom around in and boy do I love my walkies. I do require a specialized home with a family who understands my needs but I will be sure to make you smile and be a wonderful companion.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit our website adoptions page to complete an adoption application. at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
