Jakey is the sweetest, most loving, curious, and playful pup! He’s very smart and eager to learn, and is very food motivated. He loves to play more than anything and cuddle. He’s a bit timid around men but generally great and curious around strangers. Good with other dogsand good with children as well. He is a fast runner and is constantly sniffing around to see what’s going on in the world (and on the ground).

He tends to pull a bit on leash but nothing that can’t be corrected - again, just an excited little boy! True to his puppy form, Jake attaches very quickly once he’s safe, fed, and hydrated (big water guy). He has been loving strolls on leash and seems to be adjusting well to all of the city commotion. It’s certainly an adjustment as he does scare easily, but he’s gaining more confidence and feeling more secure each day.

Jakey makes the funniest old man grunting noises when he’s settling himself down and trying to cozy up for a puppy nap - he will fill your heart up immediately.

Jakey is as perfect as you could imagine! He’s smart, curious, and incredibly sweet. He’ll do well with one loving human, or a household of humans and other dogs. He’s also ridden the subway twice already! Still scared to go down the stairs and needs to be held getting on and off the train, but he enjoys the ride…and all the smells. He’s a very loyal boy who wants to take care of his human just as his human wants to take care of him! At 6-8 months old, he’s only just getting started. Look out, world! Here comes Jakey!!
