My name is Paulo!

Paulo is a 7 year old Norwegian elkhound. I got Paulo from a family friend who was giving him up when he was 3 years old so I’ve had him for about 4 years. Paulo is a great dog, hefluffy, very handsome, gives love, and a great companion. I take him for hikes off leash and he does very well with the e collar I use. He is a little higher on the maintenance side. He does have a double coat and sheds quite a bit. Before I got him he was known has the escape king! He got out of the house a lot to explore around neighborhoods. But since I’ve had him he doesn’t do that anymore because of a little training. I’m putting him up for adoption because I’m in a time in my life where I’m still trying to grow as a person and having him makes it stressful. My only issue with him is that he has resource guarding issues. He has bitten people in the past and has fought with some dogs here and there but if you have the time to train/manage that you should have no issue with the resource guarding.
