G-Raff was saved from euthanisia in a Roswell, NM shelter due to over crowding. The staff at the shelter raves about this boy. He was the prefered dog tester, sweet, easy going and well natured. He is approx 3 years old.
Dog Name: G-Raff (we’ve been calling him waffles!)
Good with dogs? Yes but he prefers dogs of his size or larger
Good with kids? Yes (but he is strong so he’d knock small kids over easily, so best with older kids)
Good with cats? Untested / but based off of prey drive I’d say probably not
Has experience on a leash? Is improving everyday! He does get very excited when he sees other dogs and will pull but not leash aggressive in any way.
Potty trained? had a few minor accidents the first few days but hasn’t since and doing well!
Crate trained? Yes
Where does the dog stay when it is home alone? In the crate
Where does the dog sleep? Crate in bedroom
When does the dog eat? Morning/ evening
What does the dog eat? Donated food
Temperament/Personality: very sweet, loves to be loved on and held, very happy to follow you around and cuddle, loves squeaky toys and bones! He’s got a gentle spirit and just wants to be close to everyone
What does the dog's ideal home look like? He’s medium energy so would prefer a fenced yard but could work in an apartment with walks, doesn’t bark in the house!
What are the dog's strengths? He is very loving, super cuddly, loves other dogs and people, he has very soulful eyes
What is the dog still working on? What can they improve? He does get very excited about other people and dogs on walks and wants to see everyone, we’re working on bringing the focus back to us when walking and he’s been improving everyday with practice
If your foster were a celebrity, who would they be? Seth Rogan
If your foster dog were on a dating site, what would their profile say?
Beach or Mountains? Mountains
Squeaky/Bouncy/Chewy, what do they look for in a toy? Squeaky and stuffies! He does destroy the stuffiest toys pretty quickly so getting the hardy stuffed toys is best
G-Raff is neutered and up to date on vaccines.
Adoption $350
