My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Baby Girl, the adorable brindle bundle of joy who's ready to bring energy and excitement to her forever home! At just one year old, Baby Girl is bursting with youthful exuberance, making her the perfect playmate for families looking for a furry companion to keep up with their active lifestyle. With her playful spirit, Baby Girl is always ready for fun and adventure. Whether it's chasing after a favorite toy, going for a run in the park, or enjoying a romp in the yard with another dog, she approaches every activity with enthusiasm and joy. Her zest for life is contagious, and she's sure to inject a sense of excitement into every moment spent together. Baby Girl has a gentle and loving nature, making her a fantastic companion for families with children. She's patient, affectionate, and always eager to shower her loved ones with kisses and cuddles. Plus, her preliminary cat testing suggests that she may be able to coexist peacefully with feline friends, making her a great fit for households with other pets. If you're ready to welcome a furry friend into your life who's as playful as she is loving, then Baby Girl is the perfect match for you!

This brave and beautiful girl has been through so much and is now ready for her forever home. When Baby Girl came to us from a partner animal shelter, she was very pregnant and in need of immediate help. She went into distress during the delivery of her pups, but we were able to rush her to the vet for a life-saving C-Section. Baby Girl delivered 12 puppies, but only 3 survived. Her journey didn't stop there; she had a reaction to the warmth administered during her emergency surgery, which required further hospitalization. Despite it all, Baby Girl survived and is now looking for a loving family to call her own. She may have some scarring on her back because of her ordeal, but her spirit is unbreakable. If you're ready to give this incredible survivor the forever home she deserves, apply to adopt Baby Girl today at ITVrescue.org. With her irresistible charm, Baby Girl is sure to bring endless joy and laughter into your home for years to come.

All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.

More about this shelter

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
