My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Charlotte!

A spirited one-year-old Pitbull Mix from Warren, AR, whose essence is a vibrant burst of joy wrapped in a beautiful brown and white coat. This young medium-sized bundle of energy weighs in at a sturdy 50 pounds, ready to explore every inch of your countryside home!

Charlotte’s favorite pastime is exploring the great outdoors! She loves nothing more than a good romp through the woods, her curious nose leading the way as she sniffs out every new scent. This adventurous spirit makes her the perfect companion for someone who shares her love for nature and has plenty of space for her to roam.

Although she hasn't had formal obedience training, Charlotte knows the “sit” command and is eager to learn more with a patient and loving teacher. Her high energy and playful nature mean she’s always ready for a new adventure or a fun game in the yard!

Charlotte’s loyalty is unmatched. She has a natural instinct to protect her family and will always let you know when strangers are around. This makes her not only a fun companion but also a vigilant watchdog. Her constant companionship means she’ll be your shadow, always by your side, offering both comfort and protection.

While Charlotte is a sweetheart with people, she needs a home without small animals due to a past incident where she harmed a cat living in the household. Due to her high energy she would also probably do best with a family without small children.

Charlotte’s health is in top shape, with all her vaccinations up to date and being spayed. She’s ready to bring joy and companionship to her new forever home! Her ideal family is one that lives in the country, offering her the space she needs to explore and thrive!

Also, Charlotte is open to a long-distance adoption—love knows no distance when finding your perfect companion!

Are you ready for an adventurous, loyal, and loving companion like Charlotte? If you think your home is the perfect match for this high-energy explorer, please reach out to adopt@joyfulpets.com.

Can you imagine the adventures you’ll share with Charlotte by your side?

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our ultimate goal is to unite as many animals with loving pet parents as possible, so we strive to make it easy to adopt a dog or cat you have fallen in love with. All we ask is that you fill out an adoption application so that we have all the information we need to determine that you'll be able to provide a safe and compassionate home to one of our rescued pets. Once approved, all you need to do is sign our adoption agreement form and provide an adoption donation so that we can continue to save more animals every day and unite them with families just like yours.
