My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tetra is a favorite of the shelter staff and volunteers! She is a super duper sweet girl who just loves people and will look at you adoringly. Tetra is very friendly, good with kids and other dogs. We do not know what she thinks of cats. She walks well on a leash and prefers to sleep on something rather than just the floor. She is a very happy, attentive girl who seems to always have a smile on her face. If you have an enclosed yard, someone will need to be outside to keep her company as Tetra can climb a fence in her desire to be with YOU! (It is not because she is trying to run away). Tetra is about 5 years old and 55 pounds. Please help Tetra find the loving family that she deserves.

Update: Tetra tested positive for 2 common tick borne diseases, Lyme & Anaplasmosis. Tetra already has completed her antibiotic treatment. She is happy and playful and ready to go home with you! Tetra is currently available for adoption.

We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).

Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

Tetra's adoption fee is $400. This covers all their age-appropriate shots, microchipping and vetting.

**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
