My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Remi adores life, people, kids, dogs! He loves a good loving massage and attention! He is calm in the house and playful outside!
The new family should appreciate how smart he is and what he is capable of! He has a pretty blue eye and loves to look at you! This breed needs a job to be happy!
His favorite toy is a stuffed pheasant!
He will be ready for adoption after middle of June He has a neuter appointment 😆
He still can be visited and adopted.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We ask the potential families to visit the dog, then, if interested in going further, email them an application. The application is for the purpose of knowing a family's strengths in pet ownership and where we can help.
We then do the home visit to get the dog comfortable, fill out the contract and complete the adoption.
We support the families after adoptions and keep in contact with them with updates and helping with issues that may arise.
We require the family to take the dog to positive training that is approved by our organization.
We also work with a healthy diet and give additional information.

Go meet their pets

We rarely do adoption events. We don't adopt out from a pet store because of our policy to do home visits. Meet and Greets are successful and we do them at civic events, walks, etc.
Our Rescue is on facebook, craigslist and petfinder.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers who are concerned with the number of shelter pets and euthanizations.
We feel that education is an important key to lessening the number of shelter pets. Rescuing pets is an ongoing process and with education of responsible pet ownership, we feel we will make a difference.
