Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Max, a PUREBRED Seal Point Mitted Ragdoll, 11 years old and in excellent health. He’s a Lap Cat, who loves belly-rubs, and an active boy with an adventurous spirit. Play is his love-language. Max would do well in a household with a playful human, and either no other cats or with other playful cats who understand his energetic personality. He gets along perfectly with average-energy dogs, especially cuddly ones, and also loves kittens (and is safe in playing with them). He knows his name, comes over when called, and also knows several words, including “want some treats?” (freeze dried chicken) and “do you want cuddles?” (which brings him into your lap) and “will you show your belly?” (which he responds to by rolling over for a bully rub). He loves being called a ‘good boy’ and he hears that a lot. Max loves being brushed and petted, and can be picked up and lifted onto the bed or sofa or any bookshelf, but prefers not to be held in the air too long or against a human chest. Once placed on any surface, Max settles down and relaxes into a beautiful sphinx-like pose.
Max doesn’t beg for people food and will not eat anything other than his own food. He doesn’t counter-surf either, preferring only the places he considers Cat Places (so, no countertops, bathtubs, closets, cabinets, or doorways). He is a fastidious and careful user of his litter box; as long as it stays clean, he is silent about his business. A dirty litter box will cause him to meow in protest until it is cleaned. He’s a very clean cat who grooms himself every day, and will often even groom other cats!
Max has always had excellent veterinary care, including dental work in the last two years, and is up to date on vaccines (not due again until 2025, and only at the discretion of your vet as Max is a senior). All of his blood work is normal and he is not in need of any treatment for any illnesses.
He comes with plenty of food, lots of treats, all his toys, and a large cat carrier, microchip info, and all his vet records.
