With a name like Sugar Cube, you’d expect this girl to be sweeter than sweet, and she sure is!! This friendly, affectionate girl loves her humans and definitely considers herself a lap dog- sit down in her vicinity and she’ll wiggle her way right up!! Here’s what one volunteer said:

“I had Sugar Cube and her kennelmate out in a play yard together. These two are the ultimate in sweetness! Sugar Cube explored the yard for a bit and then came over for treats and snuggles. She shared affection and attention very well and has a good sit.”

Sugar Cube shares her kennel with a pal that she came to the shelter with, though they need to be adopted separately. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to makes sure it’s a good fit and is looking for a home without small dogs. Ask to meet Sugar Cube today!!

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Mon - Tues: 12-7pm Wed - 1:30-7pm Thurs - Fri: 12-7pm Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 5 pm Must be checked in 45 minutes before close

2.
Meet the Pet

Once you have decided which pets you are interested in, sign in for an adoption counselor who will guide you through the adoption process.

3.
Take the Pet Home

Cats must leave in a carrier and dogs must leave in a carrier or on leash. We do have these available for purchase in our lobby store.

Additional adoption info

Year-Round Adoption Fees:
• Puppies and kittens less than 4 months old $50
• Adult dogs and cats $30
• A standard $20 dog license fee may apply
• Pets who have been waiting for more than 2 weeks for a family and pets over 5 years old $0 - Fee Waived!

Every adoption includes:
• Spay or neuter surgery
• First Vaccinations
• Microchip
• Vet visit certificate
• Pet insurance
