Gorgeous, freckly Daphne really speaks to you through her pretty dichromatic eyes. What is she saying? Let's play! She likes toys but loves squeaky balls the best of all. She's a springy girl who can clear a shorter fence, so the tall and solid variety is best. Oh, and Daphne has a superpower - she can adapt her play to match pretty much any dog! So bring your pup for a meet-n-greet.

The adoption fee for dogs includes vaccinations (DA2PLP+CV, Bordatella, Rabies) spaying/neutering, heartworm check, deworming, heartworm prevention, flea preventative, and microchip.

The adoption fee for cats includes a full exam (feleck/FIV tested, FVRCP), spaying/ neutering, rabies, deworming, and flea preventative.

If you wish to adopt a pet you will need to fill out an adoption application. You can either pick one up at the shelter or email the shelter to request an application be emailed to you.

The Calhoun County Humane Society, Inc. (dba The Animal Shelter), located in Anniston, Alabama, was established in 1973 as a result of the efforts of Susan Levens Phillips.

Our mission is
