My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Queenie is a very sweet gal who lost her home due to a domestic abuse problem. Fortunately, Queenie was not abused herself! She is extremely affectionate, and a laid-back girl who loves a good comfortable place to sleep! She has never seen a dog, but seems to get along well with one or two other cats, although she is a bit bossy with cats because it is her goal in life to get the most attention!

Queenie has healed from the ear infection she had when she arrived, which has disfigured her ear. She is basically healthy, and likes dry kibble and wet food. She hopes you will see the love in her eyes and not focus on her ear.

More about this rescue

PuRRS is a very small organization, run by cat fanciers who are concerned that pedigreed cats be rescued when they are in trouble. We also help domestics as space, time, and funds are available. We have a special emphasis on several specific breeds including but not limited to the Turkish Angora, the Pixiebob, and some others. See our website for more information. Cats in our care are usually from shelters that have asked for help in alleviating their crowded spaces. These cats are fostered in our members' homes to evaluate their behavior in a home, spayed or neutered, vetted, and ready for love!
