Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Koda: The Husky with a Heart of Gold and a Suspicion of Chickens
About Koda:
Age: 10 months
Breed: Husky
Personality: Outgoing, playful, and extremely friendly with people of all ages.
Special Quirk: Prefers his feathers firmly attached to the bird—so no chickens or other dogs, please!
Are you looking for a four-legged friend with boundless energy and a heart full of love? Look no further than Koda, our delightful 10-month-old Husky who’s on the hunt for his forever home! Koda is the perfect mix of playful puppy and loyal companion, ready to fill your days with joy, laughter, and a touch of Husky mischief.
A Few Notes from Koda:
“Hey there, future family! I’m Koda, and I can’t wait to meet you. I’ve got a confession to make—I’m not a fan of chickens. They’re just too... feathery for my liking. But don’t worry, I love everyone else! People say I’ve never met a stranger, only friends I haven’t played with yet. I’m great with kids, and I promise to be the best friend you’ve ever had. Let’s make some pawsome memories together!”
If Koda sounds like the perfect fit for your family, come meet him today! He’s ready to find a home where he can share his playful spirit and loving heart. Contact [Your Shelter Name] at [Your Contact Information] to arrange a meet-and-greet with this amazing Husky.
Don’t let Koda wait too long—he’s ready to leap into your life and fill it with tail wags and adventures!
If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this dog's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The shelter will contact individuals as they appear on the list.
Ask about adoption transportation assistance if you do not live in the local area.
The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine if not already done. All dogs are heartworm tested, receive a DHLPP, flea and tick treatment, a bordetella vaccination and are dewormed.
