Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Available for Adoption!
Violet is a 6-month-old Bully/Mastiff with kind eyes, a gentle soul and a strong desire to please. She loves to play, fetch, and does amazing in the backyard playing by herself, with furry friends, or with her people.
She doesn’t know her own size and considers herself a lap top. (She will quite literally climb into your lap and doesn’t care if you’re sitting at the computer). She will make you laugh all day with her funny clutzy behaviour. (She doesn’t leave it to you to trip over her toys, she’ll do it first). She will be an amazing companion and deserves the absolute best home!
Name: Violet
Location of dog: Fergus, Ontario
Breed: Mastiff Bully Mix
Weight: 58lbs
Gender: Female
Spayed/Neutered: No, will be at appropriate age
Age: 6.5 months
Energy Level: Puppy Energy
Medical (shots etc.): UTD
Microchipped: No, will be at time of spay
Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: No - too exuberant
Good with kids: Yes, older dog savvy kids due to energy level and not knowing her size
Good with strangers: Yes, excited to meet all new people
Guarding Issues: She will let people outside know she’s there - very friendly but you won’t get robbed.
House Trained: Yes
Crate Trained: Yes
Destructive: no destructive tendencies, loves to chew toys and knows the difference between what’s hers and what isn’t.
Leash skills: good - walks well by your side but gets excited when she sees furry friends
Okay with manipulations: Yes
Known commands: Sit, paw, lay down, stay
Behavior Issues: She doesn't have behavioral issues but is working on her manners and is just a goofy girl so she needs a home where she can learn to be the best pup she can be
Medical issues: None noted
Other Observations:
She's quirky
She's affectionate
Will let you know when she needs to go out for a bathroom break
She shows no aggressive behaviors
No issues being in the dog park with other dogs
For 6 months old she walks great on a leash. Can become excited when she sees other dogs but have been working on clicker training (click followed by treat) and it is working well to break her “excitement trans.”
