Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Update on baby: she has done so well learning English and understands her commands. She loves the grass, doesn’t mind the leash at all anymore. Loves having fur friends, loves our kitty. Loves to snuggle and loves treats! All around a great dog! Baby is looking for her forever home!
Baby M is a one year-old Shepherd mix who was rescued from Afghanistan. She has had a tough life, but it does not get her down. She loves humans and is great with dogs as long as she gets a slow introduction. She is still working on house training, but she is doing an amazing job so far! She is an incredibly smart dog with so much potential. She is crate trained but does not require it. Baby M is doing well with the cat in her foster home. Baby M cannot wait to find a family of her own to give all her love to!
Adoption fee is $450

More about this rescue
Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.
PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
Please contact us if you would like to help foster, transport, fundraise or volunteer.
