My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ZAZA is beautiful, easy-going, smart, playful and affectionate. She has special needs - she is blind and deaf. Her condition is called microphthalmia. When she's very close to someone, she sees a bit of a shadow, but nothing more and no hearing. She gets along great using her sense of smell and touch and cues from her siblings/other friendly dogs. She has mapped out the house and the secure yard. She has a great disposition, as does her mom. She loves playing with her siblings and other friendly dogs. She also loves being petted and held by the humans. ZAZA will be a lovely addition to the right forever family :-)

More about this rescue

We work with the animals at three local Indian tribes (pueblos). We have a spay/neuter called, Door2Door, we assist animals with medical emergencies, prevention, education. We rehab and re-home the unwanted, abandoned, and neglected. At the time of adoption, we bring the pet to your home to make sure all family members including all fur babies get along and all are onboard and committed to the pet. We have an adoption process and we like to stay in touch with the families for the life of the pet.
