Perla is an affectionate puppy that just wants to play! She loves cuddles and will show how happy she is through her big leaps. Perla is also an independent doggy at times and will enjoy solitary play.

Perla loves hanging out with her doggy friends, and has also met cats! We think with proper introductions, she would do well in a home with kitty siblings. She has not yet met children, but with proper introductions should do well!

Perla will need a home that is willing to work on all basic training with her, and teach her the ropes of living in a home environment

We do a very thorough screening interview, where we go through all of our policies, regulations and asking very detailed questions.
We perform a home and reference check.
Reference checks are your vet and two personal,
once all of those are completed,
we approve you.
you will out a liability waiver, and then set up a meet and greet
if the dog is the right fit, you sign the adoption agreement, pay the fee and on you go home with your new fido friend!

Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is a volunteer-based, non-profit, animal welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of stray, neglected, and abused animals. Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue is completely funded by the support of the community through fundraising efforts and public donations. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering prior to their adoption.
