Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoption Fee: $200, plus taxes
Location: CSHS Adoption & Wellness Center
Misty came in with a litter of kittens of her own whom have been adopted and she is now ready to find her forever home where she can be the center of attention and be your only kitty! Misty is a playful sweet little dumpling of a cat! She is always ready for a little cheek rub and will brush up against your legs to claim you as hers. A little bit quirky, she rolls on her back and makes eyes at you. She enjoys sitting by the window and watching the world go by and also playing with wand toys. Misty is quite the athlete and can jump straight up pretty high when playing with her wand toy and chasing the feather. If you 're looking for a quiet yet energetic life partner, then Misty is the girl for you. A wonderful companion.
Misty is about 2 years old, she is spayed, microchipped, and up to date with her vaccinations.

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
