Meet Barnaby, an adventurous and loving dog! Barnaby is an absolute prince on a leash, walking gently without pulling. Barnaby does wonderful with all humans and dogs he encounters. He has a love for water and is an excellent swimmer, making him a great companion for outdoor activities. In the car, Barnaby is a perfect passenger, staying calm and relaxed. At home, Barnaby proved to be a mellow and respectful guest. After a big outing, he's a great couch snuggle buddy, and he loves playing with all kinds of toys, even enjoying tug-of-war gently. Barnaby knows commands like sit, shake, and lay down, and he's starting to learn "touch" as a new redirection technique.
Barnaby is a smart and eager learner who could spend hours mastering new tricks. He's been respectful of other dogs' space, hasn't had any accidents, and remains calm in the car. This goofy and playful pup is also cuddly, often flopping into laps for a nap before deciding it's playtime again.

We are open to the public Tuesday- Friday 1-5, and Saturday 9-1. We are also open by appointment if those times don't work for you to meet pets!

The Lander Pet Connection is dedicated to saving the lives of homeless Lander-area animals. The LPC is compassion and kindness in action. We work every day to save the lives of starving, injured and abandoned animals and then find them loving homes. We provide resources and education to loving pet guardians to better support the human-animal bond in our wonderful community. We are helping people with pets and pets without people.
