My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Edgar is the sweetest snuggler. He is a laid back lap dog...and was lucky enough to have slept with his foster mom before moving to the Madison Lifesaving Center! He now lounges on a bed waiting to have a human bed to sleep on again! He is great with other dogs and loves to play!

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
