Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Riley is heartbroken after losing her home; this sweet girl's family was moving and sadly, she was left behind. Riley is 3 years old and looks like an adorable mix of Border Collie & Labrador. Riley is a sensitive girl, used to the comforts of home and can’t wait until she can leave the shelter and go back to being loved and pampered. At first glance, Riley may seem reserved, but once she trusts you, she'll shower you with endless affection and kisses. Riley is searching for a loving, forever home where she can feel safe and secure, continue to thrive and grow surrounded by love and care. Riley is potty trained and crate trained, friendly with cats, dogs, and kids. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this sweet, shy beauty, Riley would be honored to be your best friend for life. More about this shelter
Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
