My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sydney, affectionately known as Sid, a graceful gray and white feline with a heart full of warmth. At around 5 years old, Sid may initially appear shy and timid, but once she's familiar with you, her true loving nature shines through. Prepare for a symphony of purrs as Sid expresses her affection, particularly when cuddling and giving kisses with her chin. Lap sessions are among her favorite pastimes, making her a delightful companion for quiet moments. Sid enjoys sharing the comfort of your bed, whether it's for a peaceful night's sleep or a cozy nap under or on the bed.

Meet Kiki, a delightful tortoiseshell beauty with a captivating personality. At approximately 5 years old, Kiki is a seasoned companion who adores attention. Her affectionate nature shines as she lounges on the back of the couch, basking in the sunlight and gazing out the window. Kiki has a soft spot for treats, and her heartwarming love extends to being petted and cuddled. If you're seeking a furry friend to share your bed with, Kiki is the perfect snuggle companion, making every night cozy and heartwarming.

These two ladies are searching for a new family and is scheduled to be surrendered later this month. We would like to make arrangements prior to the official surrender so if you are interested, please reach out! Ask for Christina 757-365-6318 or via our Facebook messenger.

• Vaccinations & deworming (including Rabies shot)
• and Heartworm testing for dogs
The cost for this medical care at local veterinary offices would easily exceed $200.00.

An application must be filled out at the shelter and approved before adopting one of our pets.

If you rent, live in a mobile home community, or in military housing, we need to speak to your landlord see a copy of your lease. To speed the process, please have a copy of your lease when finalizing.

As appropriate, for dog adoption you may be required to bring your current dog for a “Meet-n-Greet” prior to adopting your new dog. Please bring a paper copy of their rabies certificate(s), not the ID tag, for the meeting with our shelter dog.
