Oh sweet Sandi...
If you're looking for a silly, sweet hound, look no further. Sandi is an owner surrender, due to no fault of her own, who has lived in a home and hopefully retained some of her manners despite living in a shelter for some time now. Sandi is an older gal, approximately 7 years old and weighs nearly 60lbs. She is up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped.
If you've never loved a hound, Sandi will show you how loving they can be.
Contact the shelter for more information or to set up a meet and greet with animals currently in the household 757-365-6318

Additional adoption info
To view the adoptable animals you must schedule an appointment by calling 757-365-6318.
Dogs & Puppies are $90, Cats & Kittens are $75 and all other companion animals are $25 unless stated differently.
Those fees include:
• Spay/Neuter
• Vaccinations & deworming (including Rabies shot)
• and Heartworm testing for dogs
The cost for this medical care at local veterinary offices would easily exceed $200.00.
An application must be filled out at the shelter and approved before adopting one of our pets.
If you rent, live in a mobile home community, or in military housing, we need to speak to your landlord see a copy of your lease. To speed the process, please have a copy of your lease when finalizing.
As appropriate, for dog adoption you may be required to bring your current dog for a “Meet-n-Greet” prior to adopting your new dog. Please bring a paper copy of their rabies certificate(s), not the ID tag, for the meeting with our shelter dog.
