My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Espresso. I’m a DSH black cat with a white spot on my belly. I came to the Ranch with my brother Cheddar. If you are looking for a great duo, we are awesome and the best of friends. I am very easy going. I grew up alongside 2 puppies, and I’m incredibly tolerant of their antics. They drag me around the house and pester me constantly. I am very much a lap cat and sometimes I even like to hang out! around your neck. I would be great with children. P.S. I have gorgeous yellow eyes! My mom says I take terrible pictures!

More about this rescue

Our threefold mission is to provide cats in need a forever home, be a sanctuary where cats will have a second chance to live a full life in a no-cage, no-kill environment, and to lead the effort to make Central Illinois a no-kill community by ending euthanasia as a method of controlling feline populations.
