Meet Mercutio (pronounced Mer-Cue-She-O)! He is a vibrant and active ~12 year old boy who is looking for his forever home. He is happy to cuddle up on the couch, but also loves romping in the fenced yard. He gets along with other dogs, kids, and cats- but he does occasionally try to chase the cat. He can get protective of his people and that is when his chihuahua traits can some out- such as barking or growling at strangers on walks, He is crate trained and does great with potty training. He loves a good game of fetch with a squeaky toy.
He is looking for a dog savvy home that is familiar with the protective nature of chihuahuas. He really is a love bug. He did have a mast cell tumor that was removed from his tail, but margins were good and it was low grade, so chances of reoccurrence are low, but it will need to be monitored. He also got a full dental cleaning.
Mercutio's adoption donation of $300 helps cover the cost of his veterinary care.
