Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We have had Addy for about 6 years. We got her when she was two years old. She was a rescue dog at that time. She was very nervous when we got her, but has chilled out a tremendous amount. She is very athletic and would be a great running partner for someone who runs (she is part greyhound). She loves to cuddle up next to you on the couch or on your bed and occasionally she will try to climb in your lap because she thinks she's a lap dog! She knows a few commands (sit, shake, lie down, speak, go meet her at the door, squirrel!, go get breakfast, go get dinner, etc). She is fine around other dogs, but I'm not sure how she is around cats. I've never had her around a cat, but she sure likes to bark at them in the window. We are relocating and won't be able to take her with us. We are gone a lot now and she is getting lonely and bored. I would love to see in her home that has lots of love and maybe a big space for her to run so she will be more active and less bored.
