Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Diesel
Foster/Foster to Adopt Home Needed – Long Island, NY
Hi everyone! This is Diesel. He arrived at the shelter just after Christmas 2022 &
he’s been there ever since 💔 He is a male, 7 year young Bully and he’s cute as a
button 😍 Before coming to the shelter Diesel did not have the greatest life. Sadly,
he was abused & living a life outside. When he first got to the shelter he was
understandably terrified, but he did eventually make friends with some of the people
there and now he loves them! It does take him a little bit to warm up to people but
once he does, he is the biggest meatball mush ever!! Diesel loves to run around and
play, and will do anything for treats 😊 He knows a lot of commands; some say he
is the smartest boy. He is dog friendly but Diesel prefers dogs his own size or a little
bit bigger……and he is quite the lover of the female dogs 💙 He needs a home where
someone is experienced in having a dog that protectives his home. Diesel has a little
stranger danger, so someone who knows that or is willing to learn would be ideal.
He prefers a home with no small children; 15 years old & up please. He is neutered
and UTD on all.
While Diesel will be missed by his shelter friends, it’s high time he has a home of
his own. He is such a good boy and just needs a chance. If you have the heart and
home for this adorable Bully, please contact adoptions@paws-li.org or go to our
FB page or call the number listed below.
