My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Laios is looking for a loving foster home to relax in while he is undergoing treatment.

Reason for Foster: Megacolon & Obstipation

Foster Time Frame: 2 weeks

Foster Care Plan: This kitty has a condition called megacolon, which means their colon doesn’t move waste through as easily as it should, leading to obstipation (severe constipation). With the right care, most cats manage this well and stay comfortable! To help keep their digestion on track, they’ll need a special diet, medication to keep things moving smoothly, and lots of hydration. He will have regular rechecks with the medical team. A medical consultation will be provided at his pickup appointment so you are confident and comfortable caring for this sweet boy!

Foster to Adopt Program: Laios is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/ or email us at foster@operationkindness.org to learn more.
