Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ranger is a 1 year old Lab/Husky Mix. He is great with people and is super dog-friendly! He attends doggy daycare frequently. He is good with kids but should be in a home with children over 12 who would understand how to treat a pet.
Outside of the house, Ranger is friendly and affectionate towards everyone. Inside the house, Ranger was only interested in his mom and her attention. He showed no interest in interacting with the dad or the children.
Ranger was treated like a human which led to behavior problems. The family hired trainers but saw no change. Ranger’s family then contacted us to surrender him.
After working with us for a few hours a week, Ranger started showing improvement in training. We introduced him to boundaries and worked on his manners. He learned he did not have to be the alpha, and could just be a dog. He would make a great second pet as he loves to play.
We want to emphasize Ranger has learned to be a dog again and needs an active family to keep him busy and let him be a dog.
