Hey friends, I’m Rosie! It’s been quite a journey for me. About a year ago, my owner passed and could no longer take care of me. I was expecting a litter of pups and had them before the kind folks at Second Chance Dog Rescue stepped in to help. They brought us in when my pups were about 4 months old. Now, I’m ready for a new chapter, and what I want more than anything is a stable, loving home of my own. I’ll be honest—I can be a bit dog-selective. I’ve got a big personality, and I live just as hard as I play! But once I love you, I love you with my whole heart. I’m beyond ready to find that special person who’ll see the goofy, fun-loving side of me and give me a place to finally feel safe and loved.

We want to ensure a lifelong placement for the rescued animal so at Second Chance Dog Rescue Mansfield we do our best to match potential adopters with their perfect pet. Our adoption process includes an initial application, with a home visit, references and vet checks. If the match is a good one, we then finalize the adoption and wish you happy tails. We are always available to help with the transition to a new home. We check in during the first few weeks to answer any questions or help with any issues. We also love hearing you brag about your new adopted fur baby and love getting updates throughout the year.
