Nova is a 1 year old Foxhound/German Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix who would make a phenomenal companion for an active person or family. She loves the beach, she gets along well with some specific dogs, and she does well with older kids.
Nova has a high prey drive. It is not recommended that she go to a home with chickens or other birds. She has been sweet and respectful to her family’s elderly Chihuahua. It is unknown if she likes cats.
Nova is crate trained, housebroken, and walks well on a leash (but she prefers a fenced in yard). She does have a herding instinct. Shes spayed, up to date on shots, and in good health. Shes affectionate but not needy and is happy to sit next to you on the couch.
Nova would do best in an environment where her people are home often, as she is on Prozac for her anxiety. She is a fast learner and very athletic. She is not a big barker but she can howl a bit if she feels lonely.
Nova is currently located in Raleigh, NC. She weighs about 50 pounds
