My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tarzan is a black and white Pitbull terrier mix who was adopted in 2019, and returned to us by his owner recently because he has escaped multiple times and did not get along with neighbor dogs. He is very sweet, loves attention and treats, and would be a loyal friend. He could use an experienced home and a family that will assure that he is safe and sound indoors.

Why not complete an application and schedule an appointment to meet this handsome boy today?

My ideal home:
I need a secure home with a loving family to call my own.
I'm good with:

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
