Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Babette came from a small town without animal control. The acting ACO contacted us to see if we could take her. Babette is available for either in-state adoption or adoption and transport to another state.
Babette looks like a miniature poodle. There might be a bit of something else mixed in but mostly poodle. Babette weighs 8 pounds and the vet estimates that she is between 4 to 5 years of age - although she acts like a puppy. She stands up on her hind legs to beg for attention. She loves pets and beating up her toys. She plays with other small dogs. Babette comes when called and walks well on a leash, but doesn't seem to know any other commands. She is crate-trained and will ask to go outside or may use potty pads. Babette is small and delicate. She must be protected from rough treatment by other dogs or children. When outside, she must be protected from raptors and other predators. To prevent injury, she will need steps to get on and off of furniture. Babette must be in the house as a loved member of the family. She must be walked on a leash and would like a secure fenced yard to explore and play.
Babette is a poodle. She will need to be groomed. Applicants must prove they can have her groomed regularly.
Babette is healthy. She is spayed, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. She is negative for heartworms and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Babette has a $300 in-state adoption fee. Her out-of-state adoption fee is $500 and includes the cost of ground transport. She can be transported almost anywhere within the continental United States. Babette is located in Texas and cannot be transported until after she is adopted. Please send an email to 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this adorable little girl.
