Meet Mercury: Your Purr-fect Companion!

About Me: Hello, I’m Mercury! I’m a ball of fluff with a heart full of love. My days are spent exploring every nook and cranny of my home, and I’m always up for a game of chase-the-feather or a puzzle treat hunt. When I’m not on an adventure, you’ll find me curled up next to my favorite human, purring away as I get my head scratched and tummy rubbed.

My Personality: I’m known for my super friendly demeanor and my insatiable curiosity. I don't do very well with other cats but I love my humans and greet them with a headbutt and a chirpy “meow”

I’m on the hunt for a forever home where I can be showered with love, attention, some playtime and lots of treats.

Our application is available on our website or at our adoption fairs. We do deliveries of our cats to their new homes to help ensure a successful transition.

We hold adoption fairs at Petsmart Campbell (CA) almost every Saturday, noon to 4pm; as well as at Petsmart Coleman (San Jose, CA) on one weekend a month.

More about this rescue

13th Street Cats is an all volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of feral and social cats and reducing the population by TNR – Trap, Neuter, Return in Santa Clara County. Kittens and cats that can be socialized are taken into foster care while waiting adoption. With a no kill philosophy, 13th St Cats is pleased to be able to rescue these homeless animals who might otherwise end up in a local kill shelter, helping to reduce euthanasia rates.
