Lyra was ADOPTED by the Rowland family 7/13/2020
This cuddly girl is such a sweetheart! While she loves running around and playing with her toys and her kitten siblings, you won't be able to resist that adorable striped forehead and pretty "eyeliner" around her pretty hazel eyes when she's ready for cuddle time. That precious face! Lyra's mom and her litter of kittens were rescued from a lady who was feeding many cats from her back porch. With a warm safe place to eat and sleep since they were rescued, they have enjoyed the love and play times with their foster Mama. She described baby Lyra as being, "Everything you would expect and want in a kitten. She is playful, cuddly, and sweet."
Lyra likes to be held when she's not playing with her favorite, "Feather on a stick" toy! She's outgoing and really likes to be where you are. And she is always ready for a belly rub!
She doesn't have any special needs and gets along great with other kittens and cats, children, and adults. Her foster mom is slowly introducing Lyra to her dog, but Lyra hasn't had a lot of exposure to dogs yet. She would do well in a home as an only kitty, but she would also love being adopted with a sibling kitten, who are also available for adoption at the time of this adoption post. Be sure to ask about both Lyra and mention her siblings on your adoption application if you have been searching for the perfect pair to share your forever home.
Lyra's adoption fee is $75 and a spay/neuter voucher is included.
