With his distinctive markings of soft brown and white, along with his beautiful sky-blue eyes, Leo is a beautiful, intelligent Siamese kitty full of personality looking for a family to adopt him and his foster friend, Humble, who were rescued separately around the same time from a life on the streets.
Leo was part of a group of stray cats living near a large home improvement store and eventually humanely trapped as part of a trap, neuter, return (TNR) effort after living outside for a year. Leo had his left ear tipped, which is done during surgery to indicate to the community that he is a fixed, vaccinated kitty living in a colony. The ear tip would also show at a distance that he is being fed and cared for by a caregiver in the community.
HOWEVER! When Leo was recovering after his surgery, the rescuers were prepared to release him back near the store to be reunited with the rest of the feral colony. But d uring that time, they discovered he was very friendly and quite social, so he moved into foster care. There, he met his new little kitty friend Humble. Leo is a fun outgoing boy and loves to play. He has had many opportunities to see new people in his foster home and while he doesn't run up to them and jump in their lap, he is curious and a little cautious at first. He will entertain you while playing chase with Humble, playing with a stick toy, or rolling around with a pompom. He loves to stretch out while he uses a scratching post, and he is quite content sitting on a warm windowsill watching the birds go by.
If you have any empty boxes laying around, they won’t be empty long—this boy loves hiding in boxes and will wait until Humble walks by to jump out and do the surprise scare trick! Works every time! It’s a great way to start the “let’s play chase” game with his buddy Humble. They sure do love being together and have become the best of friends.
This little purr motor loves to watch you get his food ready and he will talk away to you when you are preparing his meal. When he’s hungry, he has no problem sharing his opinion.
After he finishes eating and is ready to relax with a full tummy, you’ll probably find him nearby with his legs fully stretched out and his adorable legs crossed! Leo is a loveable boy and enjoys being petted and brushed. He will let you pick him up and give him a hug, too. Leo and Humble and would make a wonderful pair for someone who is looking for two adult cats who have already gone through the kitten stage and just want to find their forever home and family.
